Pop-Culture Trivia Contest for Teens & Tweens

By |2021-07-12T06:00:32-04:00July 12, 2021|

Tweens and teens can test their pop-culture expertise during a trivia contest at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, at our Lake Branch. They’ll be quizzed on their knowledge of superheroes, Harry Potter, and more. The winner will get a prize!

The trivia contest is open to everyone from ages 11 to 18. You can sign up to compete by calling our Lake Branch at (440) 257-2512 or by RSVPing online.

The next time you’re at the library, don’t forget to sign up for Summer Reading! This year’s theme is Imagine Your Story and we’re hosting programs all summer long about fairy tales, myths and magic.

Kids, teens and adults can all win spectacular prizes for reading this summer. Kids (those entering sixth grade or younger) can earn a raffle ticket for every hour they read or are read to. The more they read, the better chance they have to win one of the library’s prizes.

Kids who read at least 20 hours during Summer Reading will also earn a golden ticket and a chance to win a $50 gift card to Target.

Meanwhile, teens (those entering seventh grade and older) and adults can earn raffle tickets two ways. First, they can earn a ticket for each book they read. Next, they can earn up to 10 bonus tickets by completing different challenges. Each ticket means a better chance of winning.
