Gentle Yoga on the Lawn @ Main

Teens and Adults can join us outside for a relaxing Yoga Session with Julie Stone from Purple Lotus Yoga studio. Bring a Yoga mat or towel and wear comfortable clothing.

Spice Club kit pick-up for June – Cumin @ Main

Spice up your life with Mentor Public Library’s Spice Club! This month’s spice is Cumin. Each month we’ll feature a new spice sample, along with information on how to use the spice. Pick up a free take home kit with a small sample of the spice and a suggested recipe to try.

Let’s Cook: Super Summer Salads and Dressings @ Main

Safe Spaces Training @ Main

Safe Space Training is designed to promote community LGBTQ education and awareness. Workshop participants will explore their role and responsibility in creating a more welcoming environment at work, school, and in our communities.

All attendees will leave the workshop with greater understanding and workable solutions for promoting Safe Spaces of Respect, Acceptance, and Support for all. Safe Space Trainings are conducted by Betty Jacobs, Founder/Executive Director of LGBTQ+Allies Lake County. The 2-hour training includes a general overview of the LGBTQ community and issues, understanding pronouns, discussion and activities, and answers “what does it means to be an ally.”

Paint a Surfboard @ Main

End of the World Book Club @ Headlands

Don’t read your books – Listen to them instead! Not only can you download eBooks at MPL, but now you can also download Audiobooks. Audiobooks can now be loaded onto PCs, Macs®, MP3 players, and many other mobile devices directly from your computer at home.

Mentor Public Library has expanded its online services by adding “eAudiobooks,” available to download from the library’s Web site through a new service powered by OverDrive. The service is free to patrons with a Mentor Public Library card. Users will need to install OverDrive® Media Console™ a free software found on the library’s Web site.
