Free computer classes this August at our Main Branch

We’re hosting six free computer classes this August at our Main Branch! The classes include introductions on how to use the email, Android smartphones, and iPhones.

The classes are:

  • Learn to Use your iPhone at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20. This class is designed for people who got an iPhone but don’t understand how to operate it. Bring your iPhone with you to the class.
  • Microsoft Word: Labels and Mail Merge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Learn how to create labels, envelopes and form letters in Microsoft Word. (Word experience necessary.)
  • Basic Email at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Learn how to send and reply to emails, as well as how to attach photos and other files to your emails.
  • Word: Flyers, Pictures and Drawing Tools at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Learn how to use Microsoft Word to create flyers and manipulate pictures, as well as use Word’s drawing tools.
  • Learn to Use your Android Phone at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22. This session is perfect for people who own an Android smartphone but don’t understand how to operate it. Bring your Android with you to the class.
  • PowerPoint at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22. Learn how to create and run a presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint.
