Free Computer Classes this August at our Lake Branch
We’re offering four free computer classes at our Lake Branch in August, including introductions to Facebook and Microsoft Word.
The classes include:
- Facebook Basics at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Learn how to use Facebook during this hands-on class. Please come to this class knowing your Facebook login information, including your password.
- Word I at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Learn how to use Microsoft Word to create documents, open an existing document, select text and change its formatting, and save your work.
- Basic Computer Skills and Webpage Searching at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Learn the basic skills needed to use a computer and search the Internet.
- Word II at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug, 7. Learn advanced techniques for Microsoft Word, including how to use mini toolbars, spell and grammar check, and its thesaurus. Also learn how to adjust margins, orientation, spacing and alignment in a document.
