Ever wanted to draw ON the library? Here's your chance on Saturday, Aug. 24, at our Main Branch.

Ever wanted to draw ON the library? Here’s your chance on Saturday, Aug. 24, at our Main Branch.

Whether your kid is a scribbler or pavement Picasso, they can let their chalk do the talking during our Chalk Art program at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at our Headlands Branch.

They’ll draw their own chalk masterpieces on the sidewalk outside of our Headlands Branch and even on the building itself.

Kids don’t need any artistic experience to participate, and we’ll provide the chalk.

All we ask is that you RSVP. You can sign up to participate online or call our Headlands Branch at (440) 257-2000.

We had sidewalk games, paints, chalk, water balloon toss, and galaxies in a jar on another Marvelous Monday this week at our Main Branch!

Every Monday during Summer Reading, families can join us 1 p.m. on the Main Branch lawn for out-of-this-world games and crafts. Last week, we made our own bubble wands and some enormous bubbles.

You can also come to Freaky Fridays at 11 a.m. each Friday at our Lake Branch. Every week, we have stellar activities for kids. No registration is required to attend Marvelous Mondays or Freaky Fridays.

And that’s just a smattering of the dozens of programs we’re offering this summer. They are free to attend, though some require registration. You can sign up online or call us to register.

Finally, everyone – kids, teens and adults – has a chance to win prizes when they participate in our Summer Reading program. The more people read and the more programs they attend, the better chance they have of winning.
