Learn about the upcoming solar eclipse and receive a free pair of eclipse-viewing glasses during a special program at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at our Mentor-on-the-Lake Branch.

The Mentor-on-the-Lake Star Seekers will share facts about the moon, solar eclipses and how to use a telescope. If weather permits, our telescope will be set up for viewing outside afterward.

This program is open to all ages. All attendees will receive one free pair of eclipse-viewing glasses from us! They can be used to view the solar eclipse on April 8. It will be the last total solar eclipse visible from the continental United States until 2044.

The program is free to attend. Due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up online or call our Lake Branch at 440-257-2512.
