New app encourages kids to read by putting them IN the story

By |2022-03-22T10:38:58-04:00March 16, 2022|

A new app encourages and entertains early readers by putting them in the story with state-of-the-art technology. And it’s free to use with your Mentor Public Library card!

The app is called iVox, and kids can both read books on it or be read to. But what’s revolutionary is that stories on iVox appear as a three-dimensional pop-up book on your device – literally adding a dimension to your experience.

IVox is free to use for anyone with a Mentor Public Library card. It’s available at ivox.libraryideas.com or as a free app in the Apple and Google Play stores. Its collection is filled with popular and award-winning picture books and nonfiction for kids.

You only need your library-card number to sign in and start reading.

IVox is only one of the many digital services available from Mentor Public Library! With your library card and favorite device, you have access to ebooks, audiobooks, comics, magazines, music, movies, documentaries, newspapers, TV shows, online classes, and more. And it’s available 24/7.
