Students of all ages can receive help with their homework, writing a paper, studying for a test, or even one-on-one academic assistance with www.tutor.com and Mentor Public Library.
You only need your library card number and PIN to create a free account and receive the help you need, online and on demand at www.tutor.com/mentorpl. (This would be the same PIN that you use to log into your CLEVNET account. You can call Mentor Public Library at 440-255-8811, if you don’t know your PIN.)
Starting Feb. 1, tutors will be available to provide individualized help from 2 p.m. to midnight every day of the week.
You can also submit papers (including resumes) and math problems 24/7, and a tutor will review and assist with them.
Both English and Spanish-speaking tutors are available on more than 250 subjects including math, science, writing, reading comprehension, computer science, history, study and life skills, career and job planning, parent coaching, and test prep for the PSAT, SAT and ACT.
Tutor.com is available free to all Mentor Public Library cardholders thanks to a Libraries Accelerating Learning grant from the Ohio Department of Education.
