All Booked Up With Cailey & Meg: Reading Outside of our Comfort Zone

By |2022-01-06T10:45:02-05:00January 8, 2022|

We’re trying something different for our first video of 2022! Cailey and Meg recommend four books from outside of their reading comfort zones. They are all either in genres or on topics that Cailey and Meg don’t usually read. They are:

  1. Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
  2. Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
  3. The Lost Art of Reading Nature’s Signs by Tristan Gooley
  4. All About Me! My Remarkable Life in Show Business by Mel Brooks

Most of the books we discuss can also be borrowed as ebooks using Hoopla or Libby. All you need is your Mentor Public Library card.

By the way, we’re offering a Winter Reading Challenge that’ll reward you for reading outside of YOUR comfort zone this January and February. Our Winter Reading Challenge form has 15 different reading challenges that are designed to introduce you to new authors, genres and topics. You may even find your new favorite! Complete at least five of the reading challenges and bring the form back to the reference desk at our Main Branch, and you’ll be entered into a raffle for a gift basket.
