Kids can learn about their local safety forces during a pair of themed story times this July at our Lake Branch.
First, Mentor-on-the-Lake Police Lieutenant Tina Messinger will visit us at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 15. She’ll share stories, teach children about being a police officer, and show them her police cruiser.
Next, firefighters from the Mentor-on-the-Lake Fire Department will us for story time at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22. Kids can learn about fire safety and explore the fire engine.
Registration isn’t required for either story time. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
