Our Headlands Branch will temporarily close for renovations this autumn.

Once the renovation is complete, the branch will have a new reading nook, study space, and a designated area for story times and literacy programs. The branch will also replace shelving and furniture that are many decades old.

Due to the building’s size, the branch will need to close during renovations. Mentor Public Library’s other three branches – the Main Library, Lake Branch, and The HUB inside of Mentor High School – will still be open and available during construction.

The renovation is slated to begin Sunday, Sept. 25, and will take about three weeks. Factors like weather and supply chains may affect the duration of the project. Visit www.mentorpl.org for the most up-to-date news on the renovation.
