Tweens and teens can explore history with some of the best graphic novels created when the new Drawn In To Graphic Novels Book Club meets at our Headlands Branch.
Each month, we’ll discuss a different historical fiction graphic novel. The first meeting is 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28. We’ll talk about George Takei’s moving memoir about World War II internment camps, They Called Us Enemy. You can borrow a physical copy or an ebook on Hoopla.
Book club members will also receive their own journal where they can write, draw and share stories with the group.
It’s free to join and open to everyone from 12 to 17 years old. Sign up on our website or call our Headlands Branch at 440-257-2000.
