Discover What Happened to the Dead & Wounded after a Civil War Battle

Discover what happened to the dead and wounded during the newest Leaders and Legacies of the Civil War lecture at our Main Branch.

Allison Powell from James A. National Garfield Historic Site will explain what occurred after the armies departed. Learn more about the care of the wounded and treatment and burial of the dead, which often took place months after the battle ended.
