Teens and tweens (ages 10 and older) can prepare for a new year by creating vision boards during a special program at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, at our Lake Branch.
Vision boards allow you to state, visualize and pursue your goals. They became well known after the release of the 2006 book, The Secret.
Students will make their own boards at the library, filling them with their dreams and goals for the upcoming year.
The program is free to attend and open to all teens and tweens (ages 10 to 18.) The library only requires that they register beforehand. People can sign up online or call us at (440) 257-2512.
By the way, adults can have a turn visualizing their success during the Down Dogs & Daydreams program at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at our Main Branch. This special workshop will pair visualization with yoga. Discover how recording your dreams makes you more likely to achieve them. All supplies will be provided. No previous yoga or art experience required. Please register to attend.
