Learn about the Christmas music of the Victorian Era during a free program and sing-along at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at our Main Branch. The program is part of the library and James A. Garfield National Historic Site’s ongoing series about the Civil War.

Rangers Alan Gephardt and Mary Lintern of Garfield National Historic Site will lend their expertise (and their voices) to the proceedings. The Victorian Era spanned from 1837 to 1901, which includes the Civil War. Many beautiful and cherished Christmas songs come from that era, including many from the Civil War years.

The program is free to enjoy. Due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up on our website or call us at 440-255-8811 ext. 1.
