Discover the vibrant and varied history of The Cleveland Flats during a fun and fascinating talk at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at our Main Branch.

Judy MacKeigan will trace the history of The Flats from the first log cabins to today’s nightclubs and concert venues. Along the way, she’ll give an overview of the places and people that have populated the mouth of the Cuyahoga River. MacKeigan is a historian and archivist for Cleveland Metroparks. She’s also the lead author and content editor on The Hundred Year Trail: A Centennial Celebration of Cleveland Metroparks.
