By |2021-10-03T06:00:13-04:00October 3, 2021|

It’s spooky, sweet, and very silly. Tweens can make a Haunted Peep Diorama at Mentor Public Library’s Lake Branch.

We’re hosting a Halloween program that’s both a trick AND a treat!

Tweens (nine to 13 years old) can make Haunted Peeps Dioramas at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, at our Lake Branch. You can use the candy to create silly and spooky scenes. We’ll provide the shoebox, Peeps, and other candies and craft supplies. You just bring those twisted imaginations.

Registration is required. Sign up online or call us at (440) 257-2512.

Speaking of candy, kids can trick-or-treat at the library on Friday, Oct. 29.

HB4116

It was so good to see all of you trick or treaters on Friday!

One of the hardest things about this year has been not holding programs INSIDE the library. Don’t get me wrong. We love to see your smiling faces on Zoom, and we’re always happy when you visit the branches. But it’s not the same.

We know things aren’t “back to normal.” But, for one day, it was absolutely beautiful to see you all.
