The clothes will be donated to United Way of Lake County who will make sure that they go to families who need them.

Give a little warmth before this winter by donating coats and blankets to seniors in need.

We’re hosting donation drives all year as part of our 200th anniversary celebration. Several local nonprofits have been the recipients of your charitable support.

Throughout the month of September, we will be partnering with the Lake County Council on Aging, collecting new winter coats and jackets and warm blankets for seniors in need.  The incredible staff of the Council on Aging will then distribute your donated items to help individuals who may be in need of assistance this winter.

Please drop off your donation to any of our branches, in clearly marked bags or boxes noting “Senior Coat / Blanket Drive.”  For detailed information, please call the Main Branch at 440-255-8811 ext. 213. Those wishing to make a monetary contribution in lieu of, or with their coat/blanket donations, may send a check made out to Lake County Council on Aging (write “Coat Drive” in Memo Section)  and mail to Lake County Council on Aging, 8520 East Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
