Studio MPL – our art club for kids – has returned. Every time it meets, the club offers an art project and activities that celebrate a different artist, style or technique.

Young artists can join in the fun between 4 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at our Lake Branch. Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, the kids will learn about and make art like Frida Kahlo.

This is a walk-in program, and no registration is required. Dress to get messy.

By the way, if you have a young artist or enjoy trying new art projects yourself, check out ARTPOCALYPSE for more ideas. Each Tuesday, Mr. Josh from our Headlands Branch shares a different craft or science experiment that your family can do from home. Discover how to transform a hula hoop into a loommake a secret code, or create a homemade lava lamp with ARTPOCALYPSE.
