We always love when our friends from the Ice Breakers, Mentor’s professional hockey team, can visit us for story time.
On Monday, they joined us to read stories with the kids, answer questions about being a professional hockey player, and take photos with the children.
By the way, this month is stuffed with fun at the library. We’re hosting holiday story times, crafty Christmas programs, and even a concert. See what’s happening at the library this December.
- Make your own unique holiday decor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, at The HUB.Tweens and teens (ages 10-18) can create crafty gifts for friends or even themselves at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, at our Lake Branch.
- Teens can make can customize their own popcorn during a tasty program at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at our Main Branch. They’ll learn how to drizzle, drench and season popcorn with chocolate, cheese, caramel, cinnamon, and more.
- Tweens can make heartfelt ornaments at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at our Headlands Branch.
