To celebrate Earth Day and the national Keep America Beautiful campaign, Mentor Public Library and the City of Mentor are encouraging everyone to keep their community clean this April.

Our Headlands Branch is coordinating a citywide litter cleanup. All are invited to walk their neighborhood or visit one of our community’s many parks and safely dispose of the litter that they find there.

Everyone who registers with our Headlands Branch and participates will be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card from Barnes & Noble.

While participation is open to everyone in our service area, registration will be handled exclusively by our Headlands Branch. Either visit the branch or call – 440-257-2000 – for safety guidelines, suggestions for places that need attention, and more details. We can also provide participants with trash grabbers, garbage bags, and gloves.

It’s a beautiful time to be cleaner and greener!
