Mike and Georgann Wachter – local shipwreck hunters and authors – will talk about the Lake Erie wrecks they have explored at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 27, at at our Lake Branch.

The Wachters have spent the last 40 years investigating sunken ships, specializing in wrecks that have occurred in Lake Erie.

The husband-and-wife team have written several books and articles on the more than 2,000 sunken ships in Lake Erie. They will discuss some of the biggest and most interesting wrecks during their talk. In addition to sharing stories of these sunken ships, the Wachters will also bring several artifacts from their dives.
