Kids (ages five to 12) can learn how to defend themselves during a free safety class from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at our Main Branch.
Dave Frank, owner and instructor of COBRA Self-Defense in Mentor, will explain to children who can be a threat and how to responds to a threat. Frank will also demonstrate abduction-prevention techniques and physical techniques that can be used against an adult attacker.
Frank has 42 years of experience in law enforcement and has taught cadets in five different police academies since 1992.
The class is free to attend and open to all kids from ages five to 12. Due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up online or by calling us at 440-255-8811 ext. 3.
