Families can enjoy their kids’ day off from school with a free movie screening and dinosaur-themed crafts on Monday, Feb. 17, at our branches.
First, we’ll host a screening of the Academy Award-nominated animated film The Wild Robot at noon in our Main Branch. You’re invited to bring lunch and enjoy it during the movie. We’ll provide popcorn.
Meanwhile, we will also provide dinosaur-themed crafts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at our Lake Branch. They are for children from ages five to 12 with two different crafts to accommodate both younger and older crafters.
Both the film and crafts are free to enjoy, and no registration is required to participate.
And, of course, you’re invited to borrow books and videos about the presidents — including those about hometown hero James A. Garfield — while you’re visiting!
