Do your kids like to move it, move it?

Bring them to the Pre-K Pop Party at 11 a.m. every Wednesday during Summer Reading at our Main Branch.

Our parties are full of music, rhymes and a story. There’s also a lot of moving – blasting off like a spaceship, walking like a crab, waddling like a penguin, and (of course) lots and lots of dancing.

It’s open to all 3- to 5-year-olds without an adult. No registration required. It’s perfect for high-energy kids.

And don’t forget to sign up for Summer Reading while you’re here. This year our theme is A Universe of Stories. So we’re hosting different programs with space themes throughout the summer.

Additionally, we’re hosting Marvelous Mondays at 1 p.m. each Monday from June 3 to July 22 on the lawn of our Read House. Each week the we’ll offer different games, crafts and activities that tie into space, planets and even aliens. Then, families can come to Freaky Fridays at 11 a.m. each Friday at our Lake Branch. Every week, we’ll have stellar activities for kids. No registration is required to attend Marvelous Mondays or Freaky Fridays.

Finally, everyone – kids, teens and adults – has a chance to win prizes when they participate our Summer Reading program. The more you read and the more programs you attend, the better chance you have of winning.
