laptop-3087585_1920Feeling overwhelmed? We’re hosting a free online workshop designed to help at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 20.

Erin Hill from Branches of Wellness will share movement therapy and breathing techniques geared to reduce anxiety and stress, while also helping the brain process difficult emotions including anger, grief and trauma. All exercises can be done either seated or standing.

The workshop will be hosted via Zoom. Register with us to get the link – either online or by calling us at (440) 257-2000.

By the way, if you’re looking for other ways to reduce stress.

  1. We have dozens of books and videos that you can borrow.
  2. Lynda also has several online courses from experts on managing stress, and they’re free to watch with your library card.
  3. You can enjoy a special yoga session designed for stress relief on our YouTube channel.

However, sometimes we need more help than a book or yoga. If you’re struggling with your mental health and aren’t sure what to do, you can call the Lake County Crisis Hotline at (440) 953-8255. For more resources, visit the Lake County ADAMHS Board website.
