We’re hosting donation drives all year as part of our 200th anniversary celebration.
In June, we’re collecting for Lake Humane Society & Adoption Center. Lake Humane is a managed intake shelter that helps abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted pets in our community find the loving forever home they deserve.
Each year, more 1,200 pets enter Lake Humane Society’s care. Once they nurse them back to health and prepare them for adoption, their team works to match the pets with the home and family that best suits their needs.
You can support Lake Humane in their mission by donating items from their wish list at any of our branches. The list includes:
- cat litter
- dry cat food and dry dog food
- canned cat and Pate kitten food
- kitten milk replacement
- cat toys, cat nip and cat treats
- dog toys
- small animal food for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc.
- small animal bedding (paper only)
- Timothy Hay and fresh greens
- cleaning supplies
- office supplies
- and gift cards to pet supply stores, gas stations, Home Depot etc.
