We’re hosting a program about the career, life and legacy of movie star John Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25.

For more than three decades, Wayne was one of the most film stars in the world, starring in classics like Stagecoach, Rio Bravo, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and True Grit. Hollywood historian Sal St. George will review Wayne’s career and share clips from him at his rootin’ tootin’ finest.

The program will be hosted online via Zoom. Registration is required to receive the link. Sign up on our website or call us at 440-255-8811 ext. 1.

By the way, for all you Wayne-iacs, you can always borrow DVDs of his movies from the library or stream several of his classic films right now for free with Kanopy and your Mentor Public Library.
