With more than 1 million visitors every year, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is one of the most popular places to go in Northeast Ohio. But it began as one man’s personal animal collection.

Discover the history of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo during a fascinating program at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 11, at our Main Branch. Doug Kusak, a historical interpreter at Cleveland Metroparks, will share how the zoo was created and grew to become an internationally influential animal conservation organization.

His talk is free and open to all. Due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up on our website or by calling us at 440-255-8811 ext. 1.
