Nature lovers can learn how to identify birds by song during a free program at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, at our Lake Branch.

Dr. Lisa Rainsong will explain different attributes that beginners can use to recognize a bird by sound — including the bird’s habitat, time of year, and the musical elements of its song. If the weather allows, the program will conclude with a walk to nearby Mentor Beach Park for a brief listening exercise.

This program is free to attend. Due to limited space, registration is required. Click here to sign up for the Birdsong for Beginners program or call us at 440-257-2512.
